Quilt is built to be calm and private. It has no accounts, no ads, and no advertising or cross-app tracking. Your gameplay lives on your device; the only data that leaves it is anonymous, privacy-friendly usage analytics, described below.
Key point: Quilt does not run its own servers. We never see your game data.
Quilt keeps your game data — daily attempts, your best times, streak, and settings — locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage.
If you have iCloud enabled, Apple may back it up or sync it across your devices under your iCloud account. We never see it.
If you sign in to Game Center, your daily time is submitted to Apple's leaderboard so you can see your rank. That feature is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Quilt does not receive your Apple ID or contacts.
The one-time unlock is sold through the App Store. Payments are handled by Apple; we never receive your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate and restore purchases — it processes a non-identifying purchase token and anonymous app/install identifiers to manage entitlements. It is not used for advertising.
To understand how Quilt is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous, privacy-friendly product analytics through PostHog (hosted in the EU). This records in-app events like screens viewed and features used — never your game content — with no advertising identifier (IDFA), no App Tracking Transparency prompt, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. The data is tied only to a random, anonymous app-install identifier, not to your identity, and is never used for advertising.
Quilt is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there are no accounts and no data collection, there is nothing for us to gather.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised version on this page.
