Selfkeep sends a reminder when an item is due. An item with its own time reminds you at that time; the others use the daily reminder time, 9:00 AM unless you change it, which is also when “Tomorrow” snoozes until. “This evening” snoozes until the evening time, 7:00 PM by default. If an item stays overdue, Selfkeep reminds you again every 2 days, at most 3 times; turn off Remind again if overdue to stop that. All three are in Selfkeep’s Settings. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone, so they keep coming even if you don’t open the app for a few days.
Some things you judge by eye, like a haircut or your eyebrows. For these, Selfkeep asks “Time to check?” instead of saying they’re due. If it’s time, mark it done. If not, tap Not yet and choose when to be asked again. You can turn this on or off for any item that repeats every so often: edit the item and use Check-in.
Snooze puts an item off without marking it done: in 1 hour, this evening, tomorrow, next week, or a date you pick. To snooze, swipe a card to the left or touch and hold it. Items at a set time can only be snoozed within the same day; to skip several days, pause the item. Snoozing never changes when an item is next due; only marking it done does. After you mark something done, snooze it or delete it, an Undo bar stays for a few seconds, so nothing asks you to confirm.
Two active items, with every feature: reminders, widgets, Siri and iCloud sync. Paused items count toward the 2. Selfkeep Pro unlocks unlimited items for $0.99 a week, $14.99 a year, or $29.99 once for lifetime access. Those are US prices; the App Store shows yours before you buy. There’s no free trial: the free plan is the trial.
If you have more than 2 items without Selfkeep Pro, for example after setting up your routine or when a subscription ends, Selfkeep asks which 2 stay active. The rest are locked, not deleted: they keep their history, and Selfkeep Pro unlocks them again. To swap which 2 are active, tap Change which 2 in the Locked section of All items.
Open Settings in Selfkeep and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. It’s also at the bottom of the Selfkeep Pro screen. If Pro still doesn’t show, email us with the date of purchase and we’ll sort it out.
Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Selfkeep. Manage Subscription in Selfkeep’s Settings takes you there too. If you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so there’s nothing to cancel.
When iCloud is on for Selfkeep, your items sync to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account, through your own private iCloud. Nobody else, including us, can see it, and it’s free for everyone. Selfkeep’s Settings says Synced with iCloud, or iCloud is off when your items are only on this iPhone. To turn it on or off, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud.
Add the Due today widget to your Home Screen, in one of three sizes, or to your Lock Screen. On the Home Screen, each item that’s due has a done button, so you don’t need to open the app. With Siri and Shortcuts you can mark something done, snooze or pause it, log something you did on an earlier day, or ask what’s due: try “Mark haircut as done in Selfkeep” or “What’s due in Selfkeep”.
Check that notifications are on for Selfkeep: open the Settings app, tap Notifications, then Selfkeep, and turn on Allow Notifications. When they’re off, Selfkeep’s Settings shows Turn On next to Notifications. Paused and locked items don’t send reminders.
To delete one item, swipe it in All items, or open it and choose Delete. To delete everything, delete the app; if iCloud is on, also delete Selfkeep’s iCloud data: Settings app › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Selfkeep.
